The Central University of Kerala Alumni Association (KSR/CA/2021) is the Official Association of the Alumni of the Central University of Kerala. It is an Association Registered at Kasaragod on 26 April 2021 under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860.

The Executive Committee of CUKAA comprises of the Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Kerala as its Patron, Director CUK Alumni Association as its Ex-Officio General Secretary, Finance Officer as its Ex-Officio Treasurer, and annually elected President, Vice President, Secretary and Joint Secretary from among the Registered Members of CUKAA.

Alumni Cell

Who We Are

CUK Alumni Cell is the single-point of contact between Alumni & the Central University of Kerala. The Cell offers our alumni a host of services to keep them in touch with their batchmates and updates them on campus happenings.

The Cell coordinates the activities of the Central University of Kerala Alumni Association; promotes the interests of the Alumni, University and students trough Student-Alumni Mentorship (SAM), My Imprint, Class Gift initiatives, and by recognizing distinguished alumni of the university through awards, invited lectures, membership in various university bodies etc. The Cell helps the alumni to connect with the university, share their experience, expertise and knowledge with the next generation of students, and help improve the University’s image through financial contributions and networking. They can also mentor students by offering their services by registering with Student-Alumni Mentorship (SAM). This also helps our students to connect with the earlier batches of CUK alumni through reunions and informal interactive sessions, get career orientation and develop grander vision and obtain greater opportunities. They can also use the opportunity to be mentored by successful alumni by registering with SAM.

What does Alumni Cell do?

My Imprint

Ever since its inception, Central University of Kerala has given all its students who have become successful in many walks of life excellent academic support, a brand to identify, lasting friendships and countless memories over the years in its campus. My Imprint is an initiative that helps each batch of Alumni to leave behind its legacy. It is a "By the Students, for the Students" programme monitored by a Committee of Alumni Office bearers. Students in a passing out year can opt to donate one of the options given by the Committee to choose from. The choice will be decided by the registered students in the final year through voting online in this webpage. Some welcome gifts include Campus Benches, Water Fountain, Art Gallery, a grand Pillar Clock etc. It is a very simple and efficient means to give back to the University and leave behind a physical legacy in the campus.

Class Gift

Class Gift is a ‘By the Class-For the Class’ programme. Under the this programme, graduating batches can choose to forfeit their caution deposits to create an endowment in their department for the next generation students. The soon-to-be alumni can head-start in paying their tributes to their alma mater and impact the lives of their juniors for many years to come.

Endowments

Successful Alumni are invited to pay back to their alma mater by instituting endowments in the university in consultation with the Alumni Cell.

Student Alumni Mentorship (SAM)

SAM is an initiative of CUKAA. It connects students with the alumni who are willing to guide and inspire them. It aims to keep the alumni connected with CUK to share their experience with the current students.

Distinguished Alumni Award

The Alumni Cell strives to strengthen the relationship between CUK alumni and their alma mater. It organises Annual Alumni Meet, Regional Alumni Meet and guest lectures by distinguished alumni in the campus. The Alumni Cell also coordinates student - alumni Mentorship Programme, Endowment Intitiatives and Distingushied Alumni Awards for its alumni.
